Well the trip was a success! The bowl game was so much fun! Way tense, but completely worth the drive down. Including the scary hotel in Mesquite that had one whole wall as a mirror. I'm so proud of the Utes for ending this season on such a high note! 9-4! And with next year being Johnson's and Sakoda's Senior year, it is definitely something I am already looking forward to.
After the game Marianne and I stayed around for awhile and were lucky enough to get a pic with the big man himself! We were excited!

Friday we left San Diego and spent the morning enjoying the beach. It was cold, but it's the beach! Then we went up to L.A. that night to see "Wicked." It was amazing. I am so glad I finally got to see it. It all makes sense now! There is only so much you can follow by the music.

We decided against going to Disneyland for various reasons. However I am now mad we didn't seeing that we spent 13 hours in the car because of stupid people going to Vegas! It would have been much more worth our time had we spent the day in Disneyland and driven all night. But oh well! We still had a good time. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Best of luck with the New Year!

Well I am departing tonight for my excellent trip!(see Itinerary below.) I am very excited. A bit nervous seeing that my car had issues yesterday and I just got it back this morning. Prayers would be appreciated! Just a quick Good Luck to my Utes. It's going to be a sparce fan base next to Navy, but we can still take um! Go Utes!

Best Trip Ever!

I am currently in the process of planing what I think will be the most perfect trip I could ever imagine!

First Congratulations to my Utes for being invited to the Poinsettia Bowl! They are playing for their 7th strait bowl victory! And Rivals.com named it as the #15 bowl game to watch! This will be the first stop of the trip.
Second I will be driving up to L.A. to see "Wicked." I have had the music memorized for three and half years, now I finally get to see it! I'm so excited!
And to conclude the perfect trip. . . A day in Disneyland! And not just plain old Disneyland, but Disneyland at Christmas time! It is going to be so crowded, but I am just excited to go for the Holiday season!

So there you have it. My idea of a perfect weekend getaway. Football, A Musical, and Disneyland. I am so excited! Only two more weeks until I get to experience it!

Also, just sending you Holiday Wishes. For the first time in years, I truly feel like it's Christmas, and it makes me so dang happy! This past weekend I went to the Zoo to see the 'Zoo Lights', it's quite fun. Nothing huge, but very fun to walk around. And with the fresh snow fall it was beautiful. I hope you are all able to enjoy this season! It truly is beautiful.

And that's the Game

And there you have it! These will be the last pictures I post from the front row of the best student section in the country! I really can't tell you how much fun it was being on the front row this year! Being close enough to yell at the opposing team and have them hear you! And cheer for your team and have them look up and smile! Love it! It hit me on Sunday morning that I wont get to do that again. Yeah not a good day!
I'm so proud of my Utes turning this season around! 7 in a row baby. . . .and it better be 8 after this weekend! It's going to be a great game this weekend. The paper pointed out that this is the most evenly matched the teams have ever been! Not like that matters with this game! Always a surprise! Give 'em Hell UTES!

Monday, November 12, 2007

Here we go! 6 in a row and two games left in the regular season! I am still so shocked that these Utes have come back from the team that played in Vegas. But at 7-3 it looks like they are here to stay. This years Utah/BYU game is going to be a huge one! I think as long as we can stop their running game we are good to go.
Congrats to my Utes for pulling off a really FUN Upset! The "fumblerooskie" to Brooks, was awesome! Whoever came up with that. . .Well you're cool! And Sakdoa's pass to A'asa! Such a fun play! Keep it up guys, we are here cheering for you. Good luck this weekend! I hate it's the last home game! And this weekend for sure Mack will get to celebrate reaching 1,000 yards! He only needs 5 more! GO UTES!

Yet again, proof that I get paid for nothing! It's not the most original picture, but I like it. Just a little bit extra boost before the game on Saturday. It's been a whole month since I have seen a football game live, and I must admit I am a bit anxious. However, I am doing my best to soak up every minute of it considering there are only 3 (hopefully 4) games left to the season! I LOVE FOOTBALL! I have also decided, that as much as I would love the Utes to win the conference it will be better if they don't because then I would not be able to attend the bowl game. Since all the BYU fans decided long before that they were going to win it.(can you say annoying?) Maybe a shared title? I would like that. As long as we get to go to San Diego! How much fun would that be? Go UTES!

Thursday, November 1, 2007

So I was doing my weekly read at ESPN and I noticed that Mack is up to 898 yards, which means all he needs is 102! Luckily the next game is a home game. So if he is able to do what he has been doing for the past 5 games, we will get to experience a running back reaching 1000 yards! Hasn't happened in awhile! Good Luck Mack. You are our Running Back!

Halloween! (and being bored at work.)

Thanks Karen for the great idea of how I can waist time away at work. It's not nearly as good as yours is but I'm learning. Have a Happy Halloween weekend everyone! Be safe, and a little bit not!

5-3

Well, congratulations are in order for Coach Kyle Whittingham, getting his longest win streak as a head coach. Way sad that it's only 4. But that's our Utes. A bit inconsistent. I'm glad we got the win last night even though they did not play their best. Steve Tate showed up and looked a bit like Weddle. So that was fun. Plus I have his glove, so that's even more fun! I am very anxious to see what happens in the MWC. It's still so up in the air. Yes, the Y is on top, but you really just never know what might happen. I'm just happy my Utes are playing like a team, and making less mistakes. Play calling has improved. I guess Ludwig finally realized his job was important! And lastly, hurray for it being a Thursday night away game. A whole weekend to myself! It doesn't happen much in the Fall.

I am very very pleased that the Utes finally have a winning record. I know it's only 4-3 but still! Let's just hope they can keep playing this game we call football.

It was a really fun game. I am so impressed with Darrell Mack. He is up to 647 yards. At this rate he will reach the 1000 mark by the end of the season! Congrats to Louie for getting his longest field goal yet. 51 yards! Way proud! And my favorite addition, Corbyn Loukes aka Little Man. Getting a 41 yard QB rush, and throwing to another true freshman Jereme Brooks for the first TD of the game! Love it! I am so glad we have B.J. back, but I love that we can put in another QB when the play calls for it!
Keep it up Utes! We are still cheering for you! Fans for life!

This is by far the funniest thing I have done while working! I mean come on how stupid does this look! However I do love this movie, so I am honored to be placed among such talented Autobots! HA ha ha ha. I really think this is so freaking funny!

Friday, October 5, 2007

So since all of my posts have to do with football I thought I would add one that had to do with other things I like.

This is a poster for a movie I am dying to see. It's a musical directed by Tim Burton(a favorite) and Johnny Depp is the lead character, Sweeney Todd. It really is a sinister play, about a man getting revenge by well basically decapitating people. But the music is awesome, and it's Tim and Johnny. I'm very anxious! Dec. 21st. Great Christmas movie. :)

This is the other movie I am looking forward to. It's a Disney movie about a cartoon princes who gets pushed through a portal into real life New York City. It really looks so flipping funny. And it has Patrick Dempsey and James Marsden. Both very attractive.
And Lastly. I think this is my favorite "new" show of the 2007 fall season. It's very different, but I love it! I hope they are able to keep it going with the story line. It would be a great movie. But I am hoping they can make it last for at least one whole season. Most shows I love tend to get canceled. Is that saying Something about me, or television?

And Sorry, but I have to throw in a GO UTES! Stop Brian Brohm from looking so good! And let's even out our record!

Just more pictures from more football games. I really don't think my hands and feet have ever been so cold. I also can't believe that I stayed for the entire game. I just kept imagining the team walking over to sing the fight song and not having any fans to sing with and that made me sad, so I just kept standing in the snow. Man sports fans are dumb! I'm glad my Utes got the W, but I've learned it's much easier on me when I don't expect too much from them.

Here is a cute picture from my stupid weekend in Las Vegas. I don't know why I always end up going to Vegas I really don't like it. The highlight of the weekend was when we were watching the fountains at the Belagio and it started pouring rain. I love playing in the rain. It totally takes me back to being a kid again. And I find those times are the most fun. It was not fun walking 3 miles back to the hotel through huge black sin puddles. But it certainly was an adventure! I'm going to add a Go Utes, because let's face. . . it they need it! I still love you guys, just stop making fools of yourselves!

Greatest game at Rice Eccles Stadium!

Well they did it! My Utes did it! The greatest Upset at Rice Eccles Stadium in 34 years! I am so impressed with the team this week. So many people stepped up. Darrel Mack! Amazing! It's been far too long since we have seen runs like that! And #19 Corbyn Loukes aka "Little Man!" Wow, where did he come from! A quarterback that does the sneak and is sucessful! Awesome. Defence went above and beyong. I knew it was in there some where! Robert Johnson, welcome to the Utes! This is what football is all about! I suggest that the team watch this game every week, just to remind themselves how amazing they really are! See you in Vegas next week! Go UTES!

Good Luck Utes! Kick Ben Olsen's trash!
(don't you love that all my posts have to do with football!)

Monday, September 10, 2007

This was before the Ute Walk. Ladies I highly recommend going to this. You think the players look good in their uniforms, wait till you see them dressed in their best! This is also before I learned that Swoop was in fact a good friend of mine. I still can't believe how dumb I am not to have figured it out.
This is the most fun section of the Muss! You will see us here every game, NO MATTER WHAT! We may not be in the best mood, but we will be here.

Thursday, August 30, 2007

The time has come! In one week from Saturday this stadium will be packed with crazy Ute Fans. My Utes take on the Oregon St. Beavers tonight and I could not be more anxious. Food has lost all meaning! I'm not about to say that they are going to be the best team on the planet this year, but I think as long as our offensive line can hold and deffence can step up without Weddle we will be a team to beat! Best of luck to my Utes. Go Utes!
Oh and Weddle is playing Alex Smith tonight, wouldn't it be funny if Weddle picked off Smith?

Football!

All I can think about is FOOTBALL! (I'm in this picture. If you can find me, that's impressive.) Only 24 more days until the greatest time of year comes around! I really cannot express my excitement. This year you will be able to see me on the front row of the MUSS cheering on my Utes. I'm very anxious to see how this season turns out. I have real high hopes for Brian Johnson. I have talked to a lot of players on the team and read a lot of articles that support Johnson even more. Having him red shirt last year was perfect. I really think our offense is going to kick some this year! I'm nervous for defense after losing Weddle, seeing that he was usually the one doing everything. But Tate is still around, and hopefully the new guys can be ready to cream a few people!
Also, in 24 days I will be attending my very first NFL game! I am going to San Diego for the Chargers/49ers pre-season game. I am so flipping excited. Weddle on Smith! It is going to be great! The only bad part is it is at the exact same time as the Utah/Oregon St. game, not too happy I have to miss that. But when it comes to a live NFL game, I have to take it!

Random Pictures

This is a picture of Sara and I para-sailing in Waikiki, Hawaii right after graduation.

This one is a picture of all my friends at fireworks on the 3rd of July at Granite High School. It was a celebration of Cherelle Jones going on a mission. That's why we are all there.

Just thought I would add a note here. I am finally working, however I'm not hoping to be here long so I'm not going to give much detail. I read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows in 14 hours last weekend. Probably the highlight of my summer as a college graduate! Oh well. Patience is a virtue, they tell me. I've just been playing with a bunch of friends and most of all looking forward to football season! Only 34 more days until the season starts in Oregon! I really can't explain my EXCITEMENT! GO UTES!

Here is a picture of my friends and me at Lagoon. It was so bleeding hot, but we had a way fun day!

Football anyone?

Great morning of football fun. White team(winning team) Coached by Gary Anderson and Morgan Scalley. I find it funny but not surprising that the winning team was coached by the defensive co. Final score 20-6.

Welcome

Just thought it would be fun to create my own blog so here you go! There will be much more to come. But for now here are a few pictures from my trip to St. George with some of my friends in March.

Making some awesome music.

The group waiting for the fountains at the Belagio.

The girls on our hiking adventure. (Marianne, Amanda, Cassie, and Me.)
