Trip to My Favorite City!

Well I'm back! This had to be one of the most fun trips I have ever gone on! Thanks to the company I had and the activities that were involved!

Friday February 15th

I got to New York City at 6:00 a.m. Then I ventured through the city and found the apt with my friends. Way fun dragging luggage along the streets of Manhattan. Then we went to Ground Zero, and then to Canal Street, aka, China Town. Then we found Rockefeller Center. Then that night we had tickets to "Rent." I am SOOOOO glad I saw it, since it is closing this Summer. It was truly amazing. After the show we stocked one of the leads. It was fun!

Allison, Me and Lisa in Rockefeller Center.
This is by far my most favorite part of NYC. The Shows. I love this picture, because it has all the Theatre posters!

Saturday February 16th.
This morning we woke up pretty early and a few of us were able to do baptisms in the Manhattan Temple. It was so cool. I love that temple. It's funny, because we got off the subway and it took us a minute to find it. It doesn't stand out too much. But You can sure tell where you are. I love it.
That afternoon we got tickets to a Matinee of "Curtains." Now, if you have not heard anything about this. Now you will! It was awesome! David Hyde Pierce was the lead, and he was amazing. It is a musical/comedy/whodoneit! It's so much fun! Highly recommended!

Yes that is us with David Hyde Pierce. He was super nice. We waited and got all their signatures.
Then after we left Curtains we tried to get tickets to accuple other shows but just happened to be there when they had the Lottery for Hairspray. And thanks to Lisa, we got front row seats to the show! It was so freaking close. But soo much fun! I just kept laughing because they were quite literally dancing on top of us!

Sunday February 17th
We did not do so well with shows on Sunday. But that night we went to dinner at Mars 2112, and then we went and got desert at Cafe Lalo. It's the Cafe that Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks meet at in "you've got mail."

Monday February 18th
This was our last day in the Big apple. We chose to go to a famous pizza place under the Brooklyn Bridge, so to get there we chose to walk accross it. It was pretty windy that day, but the nicest day so far. It's a pretty cool site. The bridge was built in 1875, and you can pretty much see everything from it.

Lisa and Me on the Brooklyn Bridge, with the Empire State and Chrysler Buildings behind us.We ended the New York excursion with a short walk through Central Park. It really is an awesome site to have the park in the middle of everything.

And that's the gist of my trip! I loved it! I would go back in a heart beat! I could totally see myself living there and loving every minute of it. Maybe one day. . . . .

This is super long! Sorry!

Cami!!! Thanks for writing a comment on my blog. Jesse and I both miss you and your dang fun family! I love your blog and can't wait to keep reading about your extremely exciting, fun life. I am so glad that you live life to the fullest, I mean, you always have, but I just wanted to let you know that I really do love the way you live life. I need to be a little less worried and a little more fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants. Anyway, I hope all is well with you and your fam. Tell everyone "HI!" from the Hubbards :)
