Texas. . . Here I come!!

'Farewell'

My 'farewell' is this Sunday at my student ward (1928 South Campus Dr.) at 2:45. It's pretty easy but google it so you know which church it is. . . Also my mom is doing a party/get together on SATURDAY the 11th starting at 5:00 at my parents house. I'd love to see everyone at both or one. Just enough to give you a hug and say 'see you later'. :)

Things I'll miss. . . .

Since I'm only two weeks out I'm starting to think of all the things I'm going to miss. . . . This is only a short list and in no real order. . . .
First the things not pictured. . .
My Cabin!! It's my escape from life.
The Mountains! I love Utah, and I am determined to be more outdoors-y when I get home.
Movies!!! I'm already looking forward to watching some when I get home!!!! ie 'Alice in Wonderland'
My personal space. :)
Working with my Uncle.

Traveling! Even if it's a small road trip! Going on trips with your friends always proves to be a good time!

My kitty!! He's soooo much bigger now! Not fat, just bigger. But I love him!

Performing! I really miss the theatre! I plan on doing a whole lot more of it when I get home! I've met some of the coolest people by being involved in shows.

I hate to miss out on that!

But there will be more

plays when I get home.

I'm going to miss just being around with my friends! That's everyone! It's just bizzar to think that so much could be different when I get back. I already know I'm missing three weddings of people I love dearly! Catching up on all the blogs is going to take some time! :)

I'm really really really going to miss the Salt Lake Temple. . . I'm all about the live sessions. I've been to the other temples in the valley but I just can't stay away from Salt Lake! It's my favorite place on the planet!

This fullfills two! My mom and dad. It's been nice being back home these last few months. I wouldn't get to see my parents otherwise. They are truly amazing people. . . I don't want to say goodbye to them. . . Then of course FOOTBALL!! I'm such a dork to not have timed this better. Two football seasons?! What was I thinking?! No I'm just kidding. . . well only a little. Luckily I have awesome friends to keep me posted! (thanks Brynn!! I love you already!)

Probably most of all. . . This one! I hate hate hate that I don't get to see her grow up. Not being here to watch her grow up, and smile, and laugh with me makes me not want to go. She'll be TWO when I get home. Now I know you don't have memories from before that. . . but she wont know me when I get back.

More will probably come to mind but this has been on my mind lately. . . However, even with a list that long I have no doubt that I can do this. And that there is no way I'd be doing it if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints wasn't the true church. The Lord has blessed me far and above anything I could have asked for. I'm prepared to give him 18 months of my life.

ONE MONTH!

So I have one month!! One!! I'm getting really excited. . . It's kind of a bizzare thing to imagine just stepping out of life for 18 months. But I am very excited to work hard and serve the people the best I can.
So with one month left I'm realizing I don't have much time. . . What should I do with my time? What would you do? Remember. . .I don't have much money! :)

Also, I need to sell my car. It's an '05 Toyota Carolla. It has 52,000 miles on it. It's red. It's a great car! I bought it from the Church so the only owners have been missionaries, which they take care of cars because they have to, and me! She gets about 28 miles per gallon. . . So if you know anyone let me know or have them contact me! Thanks!

Wedding Weekend

Well this past weekend I got to spend two whole days with two couples I love dearly. Friday I got to attend the weddig of two of my favorite people in the world. Kristi and Mark! I'm so excited for them!
Saturday I also got to attend the wedding of my best friend! It was such a wonderful ceremony and I feel so lucky to have been there to support Dave and Jen!

There was also a picture of Abraham lincoln in the back seat and a pirate wench! :) I always have so much fun with my high school boys! Love you guys! And congrats again to Dave and Jen! And Kristi and Mark!

I just thought I would let you all know way in advance about my farewell. I'm speaking at my Student Ward on Sunday July 12th. I'll probably do something the day before as a get together. When it gets closer I'll put more details. I just thought I'd share. . . I don't have much to say except I've been having a LOT of fun trying to find clothes that are not only missionary approved but still wont make me feel like a frump! :)
Also just wanted to say Thanks to everyone on their awesome support. It's been overwhelming and so comforting! So thanks! You're the best! I hope you are all doing well! And I hope you have a wonderfully relaxing Memorial Day!

Kind of Big News. . . .

Well, just thought I would let everyone know my plans for the next year and half or so. . . I've been called to serve in the Texas Dallas Mission!!! I report to the MTC on July 15th!! It's bee a very hard long process deciding to serve a mission right now. But I'm very excited to serve the Lord for a year and a half!! . . . I wont mention that I'll be missing two football seasons. . Thank goodness for last year!!! I actually drove through Dallas when I went to the Sugar Bowl! So I've totally been there!! Just thought I'd share the news!

Good way to spend the day.

Man! If I'm putting all these pictures up of my niece I can only imagine how I'll be when I have my own kids! :) This is how I spent my afternoon. . . Just playing with Baby!

Not much worth saying. . .

I'm working for my uncle right now to hold me over till I find something more. He owns a jewelry store in Trolley Square. It's called Payne Anthony, and it's just below Spagetti Factory. So if you are looking for anything we carry all kinds of jewlery and can have things custom made. Or if you hear of someone getting engaged send them to me! I love selling engagement rings.

Options. . .

So. . . I'm in a place in my life where I have no responsibilites, no obligations, lots of oportunities and hardly any direction. . . I really could do anything I want right now. The question in turn is what do I really want. . . Or more importantly maybe not what I want but what I need. They aren't always the same. Luckily the Lord is better at knowing what I need. And luckily for me he seems to want me to make my own decisions. . . What's up with that? Like he trusts me to choose my life's course?! That's just crazy that is!

What to Blog about?

Just goes to show that I don't have much more to blog about aside from football. . . Speaking of! There is a parade tomorrow if you hadn't heard. I'll be working at it which I find fun. I like being on the inside of things instead of a spectator. Also if you feel so inclined to watch the greatest football game ever, and see me on the front row, you can watch it again on Saturday night!! Well. . . guess that's all there is to talk about. :)

Sugar Bowl N' N'Orlns!

Well I drove in a car so much longer than I ever want to again. . . But it was so worth it I can't even describe it! If you watched the game you may have seen me on tv. I was on the front row! Yes the front row of the Sugar Bowl. The greatest game in Utah football history!!! It was so much fun! Amazing! We played so well it was shocking! I'm so proud of my Utes!!! I don't have much more to say except . . . GO UTES!
